Mercury Cover

The brief for this project was to create a cover for the local magazine Mercury. We had the option of choosing any headline topic and running with it. I chose immigration because it's something I was passionate about. It was also a hot topic in the news at the time. For the cover, I drew many different people walking in the same direction. In the middle of my illustration there's a shadow of a flag and dark figures walking within the shadow. These figures represent the many undocumented immigrants that are walking amongst us. They're people we know and speak to but have no clue about the hardships they go through on the daily.
